ATC's for a Purple Swap
I'm going to try like heck to get these all finished for an upcoming swap in the Artist Trading card group. It's been quite a while since I've been able to participate so I'm really looking forward to it. I have all the cards ready for two other swaps as well but like the above, I still need to finish the backs for them all. I guess time will tell if I can complete them all. If not...I can still swap them out through Elinor's digital swap from the same group.

ReplyDeletePurple is my favorite color too. All of your ATC's are great. I love the top center one in your purple group. Did you use beads? Are they all done digitally? How do you finish the backs? I fear I have lots to learn about ATC's too.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your questions...No beads, Yes to most of them are digital...actually all are digital except for the bottom center image which I painted using watercolor paints with some salt effects. As far as finishing the backs of the ATC's for a swap, I created several backs in a variety of colors with all the information about the ATC swap already pre-typed. (Sort of like an ATC stamp would provide) Then all I have to do is print them and fill in a few blanks and attach them to the backs of the ATCs. It adds a thickness making the ATC sturdy and more professional looking. (Plus it's required by most of the swaps.)
Most of what I know today I learned from two yahoo groups... we_love_digital_art group and the artisttradingcards group. If you want to learn more, you might want to join both of those groups. The groups provide an easier format for leaving and receiving messages too.
