Mind-wide open challenge

Hi everyone!
I just entered my first challenge outside the groups I belong to. This was a really fun challenge using the lady image along with the prompt word Dream.
If you would like to participate or check out the entries, just go to http://www.mind-wideopen.blogspot.com/
The entries will be posted on February 8th for voting. The winner will be based on the image with the most votes.

Thanks and appreciation goes to Birgit who shared this link and more with our group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Digimation/
More thanks and appreciation goes to Gail who created this wonderful challenge.

I look forward to participating again next month.

  1. Joan-
Yours is a winner! I love the effect and the whole composition. I think you rose the challenge big time! Do I go to the link to vote for yours?
I'm intrigued by the groups you mentioned. What are they and what do you do with them?
Art is such a fabulous adventure in self-discovery, isn't it? It never fails to amaze me; in myself and in others.
    Love your work as always,
    Geree

  2. Hmmmm...as far as the challenge entry - yes, you go to the first link to vote. This is very new to me so I don't know how to advise you to vote, as in cast your vote. On February 8th you'll be able to view all the artists work. It should tell you there how to cast a vote, I hope. I did vote once last month but I can't remember how I did that. The mind-wide open site posts a new challenge each month using an image and a prompt word. Check it out...it's really fun.
As far as the second link - I became a member of that group last May, I think. We are a digital art group and I have to say one of the finest groups I've ever found. Everyone is so supportive and very friendly. You can read more about the group by clicking on the link.
Oh, and thanks so much for the vote of confidence...but...you haven't seen the others yet! LOL There are very talented artist who enter these challenges. The vote is always tough since there are so many great entries!
Good to hear from you! :)

  10. LOL, well, thank for stopping by! I just assumed you had an ETSY shop, silly me. I thought it was funny we both took the same window idea with the challange. Of course, your window frame was a bit more polished than mine. Nice to meet you!
